For use in vehicles (mainly Japanese models) in which float resistance is kept within 20Ω - 780Ω. The ECU calculates the amount of used fuel based on the petrol injection pulses and covered distance in km.

Principle of operation
Each time the engine is started, the indication of the amount of fuel in the tank is updated (fuel level is determined based on the position of the float – if the vehicle is not positioned on a flat surface, the result will  be inaccurate). Emulation is performed within the first two minutes after the engine is stopped, therefore, restarting the engine when the emulator is working is not recommended. If the engine is started before the emulator completes its cycle, there is a risk that the indicated fuel level will be inaccurate.
