STAG has become part of the Faculty of Transport at the Silesian University of Technology for good

AC S.A. and the Faculty of Transport at the Silesian University of Technology have concluded a cooperation arrangement to increase the level of knowledge in the field of mechatronics and electronics within the scope of LPG and CNG supply systems in cars.
The Silesian University of Technology is the oldest and one of the largest universities of technology in the country. It was established in 1945 as a scientific-educational facility for the most industrialized area in Poland - Upper Silesia, which is also one of the most industrialised areas in Europe. For the past 70 years of its existence, it has been an essential public institution which plays a particularly important cultural and opinion-forming role rooted in the region.  
Both the students and the staff of the faculty may count on AC S.A.’s help in the execution of scientific and educational projects. The company will also support the university students and graduates in their first steps on the labour market. AC S.A., along with the authorities of the Faculty of Transport, are planning to organise internships and open days at the company headquarters, thanks to which the interested students will be able to have a closer look at the installation of STAG autogas from the direct perspective of the creation and installation processes.
The cooperation also provides for AC S.A. issuing an opinion on the educational programme as regards new technologies and solutions in the field of mechatronics and electronics within the scope of LPG and CNG systems in cars. The authorities of the Faculty want the graduates to be as well prepared as possible to start professional work, therefore they have taken utmost care to adjust the educational programme to the expectations of both Polish and international employers and give the students a chance to put theory into practice.

 

 

 

AC S.A. will also provide support to the academic employees of the Faculty of Transport at the Silesian University of Technology in their design works on advanced technological solutions. Projects prepared in this way will be implemented at the company.
The cooperation will also involve competitions for the best diploma, doctoral and post-doctoral theses. Additionally, AC S.A. will support scientific publications, post-graduate studies, scientific research, new forms of education and other similar projects.
We are certain that this cooperation will be beneficial both for the University and our company. Our commitment is an investment which will soon pay off in the form of the next generation of great specialists in autogas installations and modern solutions which will contribute to the company’s further development.
