On the 24th of September 2015, AC Spółka Akcyjna was ranked among the Top Employers in Eastern Poland. The title of the Top Employer in Eastern Poland is granted to the ten most prominent employers – companies from the five eastern administrative provinces in the country.
A number of the company’s strong points were recognized, including almost 30 years’ experience and the position of the national leader in autogas systems. The jury also gave credit to the company's internal Research & Development Center with state-of-the-art equipment, the fact that more than 50 engineers specialized in electronics, automated technology, mechanics and IT are employed in AC, and that the company spends more than 3% of its turnover on R&D activities, which is much more than the average in Poland. AC also cooperates with the local universities, e.g. Bialystok University of Technology, to expand the knowledge and experience related to new technologies and to support of innovations and creativity.
Katarzyna Rutkowska, Chairman of the Board at AC: - This recognition is an honor to us. We will endeavour to promote our region in the world and we are already present on more than 40 markets.
Nominations and recommendations were also made by the local authorities of individual provinces (marshals and presidents of voivodeship capital cities), as well as representatives of organizations implementing economic policies through winning investors and promoting entrepreneurship. The laureates were selected by the Consultative Board which reviewed the impact which the business operations of various companies had on the economic development of the region, contribution to the development of the labor market, innovations, as well as relations with the personnel and local communities.
The prize-giving ceremony for the Award of the Top Employers in Eastern Poland took place alongside the 2nd Economy Congress of Eastern Poland in Białystok, which traditionally hosts the representatives of national and local authorities, representatives of companies from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries, as well as politicians, experts and scientists.
